雅培（Abbott）是在全球医疗保健行业具有领先地位的跨国公司，致力于通过科技创新而实现对人类健康潜能的承诺。美国雅培公司副总裁、首席经济学家黄赓（Gene Huang) 将论述不断变化的全球经济最新发展动态，他将回顾当前全球经济在增长潜力、人口结构、生产力、货币和大宗商品等领域的最新发展趋势，以及这些趋势对商业环境的影响。同时，黄赓博士还将从一个商业经济学家的角度分析经济学如何帮助商业公司进行循证决策，并分享他对医疗保健行业、商业经济学家的职业角色以及第四次工业革命等议题的独到看法。
Abbott is a diversified global health care company that is dedicated to fulfilling the promise of human potential. Gene Huang, VP and Chief Economist of Abbott, will discuss the latest developments in the changing global economy. He will review current global trends in areas such as growth, demographics, productivity, currency and commodities, how these trends impact the business environment, and how economics contributes to evidence-based business decisions. Gene will share his observations on the role of health care in the global economy, and the role of business economists inside a multinational corporation. He will also touch upon expectations for growth and the importance of innovation in the 4thIndustrial Revolution.

Gene Huang, Ph.D., Vice President, Chief Economist. He is a former president of the U.S. National Association for Business Economics (NABE). He is chairman of the Economic Advisory Committee of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness.
