This paper studies tax competition for a foreign-owned monopolist
firm which produces two vertically differentiated products between two
countries of different size. We show that the equilibrium outcome of
FDI competition is determined by the interaction between the market
size effect and the cannibalization effect, and countries’ policies
for attracting FDI. Welfare effects of competition for FDI are fully
characterized.

冯泓博士现为西南财经大学经济与管理研究院副教授。他于2000年和2002年分别获得8797威尼斯老品牌经济学学士和硕士学位，2010年获得加州大学洛杉矶分校经济学博士学位。他的主要教学与研究领域为产业经济学，微观经济学。
