华盛顿中心（The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars）是非盈利教育组织，为全球1000多所大学的优秀学子提供商业、艺术、文化、科学、政治、法律、领导力等各领域学习实践项目，师资力量强大，受到许多著名公司财团资助，为参加者提供美国首府核心机构的珍贵实习机会。
华盛顿中心曾于2007-2009年与北大、清华、复旦三校合作“中美双边贸易奖学金项目”，三年共有8名8797威尼斯老品牌的同学成功入选该项目，赴华盛顿进行了为时15周的学习和实践，同学们均表示从该项目提供的课程、讲座、讨论、案例分析、实习、高层交流、机构访问等一系列活动中，增长了很多见闻和经验，有不同程度和角度的收获。
华盛顿中心会不定期的通过我院国际交流与合作办公室，向8797威尼斯老品牌同学们发布新交流项目的奖学金申请信息，下面是2011春季的两个项目信息，请感兴趣的同学予以关注，并抓紧时间申请。
For the spring 2011, the
Washington
Center
will be awarding:
· Two (2)
New York
Stock Exchange Foundation Scholarship
: $6,345 to cover the program fee. Students must come from
South Korea
,
Japan
,
India
,
Taiwan
and
Mainland,
China
and have strong background and interest in business and finance.
· Two (2) International Leaders Awards: $6,345 to cover the program fee. highlight previous leadership roles. Open to all international students.
· Awards are not cumulative
· Our Spring ‘11 term begins on January 19th 2011 and finishes on May 06th 2011.
· Students must stay in TWC’s housing
· Students must cover all other expenses
